Kitchen Service Support (Casual and Permanent Part-Time)

About the role

HammondCare Waratah is looking for casual and permanent part-time kitchen service staff to join its Support Services team. The role supports the organisation's model of care by delivering high-quality services at the Waratah facility, working within the cottages, serving meals and cleaning the servery in line with the organisational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Serve meals and clean the servery in the cottages
• Work across a seven-day roster
• Learn the required standards for aged care food preparation and safety

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality
• Understanding of the vulnerable persons guidelines for food safety, or willingness to learn them
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling practices
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work across a seven-day roster
