Junior Accountant – Mining Sector

About the role

Terra Mining is seeking an emerging accounting professional to join its West Perth head office. This junior accountant position offers broad exposure across all accounting functions within a fast‑growing mining company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and report cash flow on a regular basis.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and management reports.
• Assist with compliance obligations and perform reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or currently studying towards one.
• Full Australian working rights and a recent National Police Clearance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Xero accounting system (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
