Injury & Return to Work Consultant

About the role

The Injury & Return to Work Consultant provides injury prevention and return‑to‑work services to customers, helping injured workers re‑engage with their pre‑injury employer. The role combines telephonic and mobile support across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Support injured workers to remain at work through early‑intervention services.
• Assist national employers with injury management processes across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate post‑triage activities such as medical appointments, stakeholder liaison, email updates and return‑to‑work plan creation.
• Handle claim administration, including claim forms, certificate submission and PIAWE calculations.
• Conduct worksite meetings or case conferences to assess duties and develop suitable return‑to‑work plans.
• Collaborate with other consultants on site visits and case conferences.

Required profile

• Experience in Return to Work case management, workers compensation front‑end management or occupational rehabilitation.
• Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service focus and effective time management.
• Own a road‑worthy, insured vehicle and hold a current driver’s licence.
