Human Resources Advisor

About the role

This hands‑on HR Advisor position supports a small, fast‑growing organisation located south of the river. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will deliver end‑to‑end HR services and help shape a high‑performing workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR advice on policies, procedures and employment matters in line with the Fair Work Act and NES.
• Manage full recruitment cycles, from advertising to offer.
• Design and deliver onboarding and induction programmes.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, generate reports and support system updates.
• Oversee employee lifecycle activities such as contracts, probation reviews and off‑boarding.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions and investigations.
• Interpret and apply modern awards and support reward and recognition initiatives.
• Contribute to HR policy development and ensure legislative compliance.
• Prepare HR metrics and reports to aid decision‑making.
• Support the HR Manager on strategic projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience as a generalist HR Advisor in a small‑team environment.
• Recent vocational experience with the Fair Work Act and industrial awards.
• Ability to handle end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong investigative and case‑management skills.
