HR Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the establishment and ongoing development of our operations in Australia and New Zealand. The role will oversee local HR operations, ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, and work closely with the regional HR Business Partner and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition, coordinate with agencies, prepare offers and ensure a smooth, compliant onboarding experience.
• Ensure HR practices align with Australian employment law and relevant Awards; prepare contracts and HR documentation.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support, handle employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and oversee compliant off‑boarding.
• Assist in building local HR processes, workflows, and documentation, including onboarding, policies, and training frameworks.
• Act as a trusted HR partner to business teams and collaborate with the regional HRBP to align with global HR strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• 6–10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and experience working with Awards.
• Proven experience in employee relations and HR compliance.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
