HR Coordinator

About the role

South32 is seeking an HR Coordinator to support its Cannington operation in Queensland. This full‑time, 15‑month fixed‑term position follows a 4:3 FIFO roster (Monday‑Thursday) from Brisbane or Townsville and provides end‑to‑end coordination across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Advise leaders on performance, conduct and policy matters.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, approvals and interview logistics.
• Maintain HR systems, ensure data integrity and manage organisational structures.
• Produce HR reporting, analytics and provide administrative support.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with accurate data management capability.
• Collaborative, customer‑service oriented approach.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant industry experience.
• Current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP, SuccessFactors or HCM.
