About the role

As a Porter at Sofitel Adelaide you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm and personalised welcome. Your role combines guest service, luggage handling and local knowledge to create memorable stays for both new and returning visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests in the lobby with attentive, personalised service.
• Assist with valet parking, luggage delivery and storage.
• Provide a brief orientation of rooms and hotel facilities.
• Offer tailored recommendations on Adelaide attractions, dining and transport.
• Maintain a clean, orderly lobby and ensure all guest requests are addressed promptly.

Required profile

• Full driver’s licence with confidence driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Service‑focused personality with prior customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player who collaborates well with colleagues.
• Physically fit and able to stand and move on foot for extended periods.
