Head of NFR Systems

About the role

The Head of NFR Systems leads the design, delivery and evolution of ANZ’s non‑financial risk (NFR) platform. Reporting to the Head of NFR Data, Insights & Systems, you translate risk strategy into a practical roadmap that supports board and regulatory oversight while enabling high‑quality data and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of NFR systems, data and reporting to meet regulatory expectations and support executive decision‑making.
• Convert risk strategy into clear roadmaps, priorities and measurable outcomes across multiple workstreams.
• Optimise resourcing and build a cross‑skilled, flexible team that can pivot between systems, data, reporting and delivery needs.
• Champion out‑of‑the‑box, fit‑for‑purpose solutions to improve speed, resilience and user experience.
• Provide enterprise‑level accountability for system performance, resilience and evolution.
• Partner with Technology and Enterprise teams to deliver controlled enhancements, integrations and automation.
• Embed robust controls across system change, release management and data flows, maintaining up‑to‑date service management artefacts.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in risk, data or technology delivery within a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and drive execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across risk, technology and business teams.
• Experience managing flexible, multi‑disciplinary teams.
