Head of Marketing, Australia

About the role

PIMCO, a global leader in active fixed income, is looking for a Head of Marketing, Australia (SVP, Senior Vice President) to own the end-to-end marketing agenda for Australia. The role drives asset growth across Wealth Management and Institutional businesses, deepens client engagement and strengthens the brand. It leads a team of two and coordinates integrated programs across content, paid media, digital, multimedia, events and sponsorships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marketing in Australia, manage a team of two, set goals, coach performance and build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with the Head of Marketing APAC and business leaders to design programs that deliver acquisition, retention, asset growth and revenue.
• Optimize the Digital Sales model through targeted, account-based marketing and use first- and third-party data to segment audiences and generate leads.
• Develop and enforce brand and messaging governance, and produce localized collateral such as fund factsheets, commentaries, brochures, webcasts and website content.
• Support PIMCO's active ETF growth ambitions, including launches, advisor and investor education and digital activation.
• Work with channel heads and client-facing teams, and act as a trusted advisor on marketing strategy and market opportunities.
• Set the Australia marketing budget with the Head of Marketing APAC, compile metrics, run campaign and post-event reports, and build a data-driven framework measuring engagement, lead generation, pipeline contribution, asset growth and ROI.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience in financial services, preferably asset management, with strong knowledge of the Australian market.
• Deep exposure to wealth management and institutional client segments.
• Demonstrated success partnering with client-facing teams to acquire and retain clients and assets.
