Gym Equipment Service Technician – FIFO (8/6) in Western Australia

About the role

Sodexo is looking for an experienced Gym Equipment Service Technician to join its FIFO team in Western Australia. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing commercial fitness and electro‑mechanical equipment at remote site facilities, ensuring safety and reliability for our energy and resources clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repairs on commercial fitness and electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Troubleshoot faults and complete repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
• Accurately complete work orders, maintenance records and service reports.
• Provide guidance to clients and site personnel on correct equipment use and care.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with site teams while also managing tasks independently.

Required profile

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining gym or electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to prioritise workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
