Group Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion

About the role

The Group Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA brownfield conversion for a government agency in Melbourne. The role is accountable for schedule, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder management, ensuring a low‑risk, audit‑ready transition with minimal business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA brownfield conversion, from initiation through cut‑over, go‑live and stabilisation.
• Establish and manage project governance structures such as Steering Committees and Design Authorities.
• Coordinate with agency stakeholders, system integrators, technical teams and independent assurance functions.
• Monitor and control project schedule, budget, quality and risk to meet government standards and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale SAP S/4HANA brownfield conversions.
• Strong background in project management within a government or regulated environment.
• Excellent stakeholder, risk and governance management capabilities.
