Full Time Perishable Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Perishable Assistant to join our team at Harris Farm Markets in Isle of Capri. You will help keep our fresh produce and chilled sections well stocked, clean and inviting while delivering friendly service to our customers. The role is essential to ensure customers find fresh, high‑quality products and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, above‑expectation customer service and answer queries.
• Maintain fresh, attractive displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and fully stocked.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor and back‑room as needed.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing throughout the department.
• Organise and preserve back‑stock in good order.
• Support food‑crew sampling programmes, keeping sample areas tidy and appealing.
• Uphold health and safety standards and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a grocery or fresh‑produce environment.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
• Passion for good food and fresh produce.
• Flexible availability to work across all seven days of the week.
• Ability to lift and move typical grocery items.
