Front Office Assistant Manager (Duty Manager)

About the role

Pullman Sydney Airport, a 5-star hotel in Mascot Business Park with 229 rooms and suites, is looking for a full-time Front Office Assistant (Duty) Manager. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, the role ensures a high level of guest service at all times and acts as a role model for the Front Office team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive loyalty sign-ups in line with AccorHotels regional targets, hotel-specific targets and associated initiatives
• Lead by example when handling guest requests, taking initiative so that guest interactions are positive and productive
• Provide guidance, support training and lead the team
• Resolve guest complaints and challenges actively
• Assist with check-in and check-out and help other areas of the hotel during peak times
• Ensure the health and safety of guests, patrons and staff, and maintain a high standard of personal presentation
• Uphold Accor and Heartist values and Pullman brand standards

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role in a hotel
• Confidence in approaching people to build relationships, entrepreneurial spirit and high energy
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Unlimited work rights in Australia

Required skills

• Experience with Fidelio or Opera PMS; hotSOS is highly preferred
