FIFO 2:1 Village Management & Hospitality Roles in Townsville

About the role

Sodexo is inviting internal candidates to join its FIFO village operations in Townsville and surrounding areas. The roles cover village management, accommodation and administration, culinary leadership and a range of service and trades positions. Successful applicants will work on a 2‑to‑1 roster (14 days on, 7 days off) supporting remote workforce villages. The positions are full‑time and based on a FIFO schedule, providing a balanced work‑life rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day village operations, ensuring safety, comfort and well‑being of residents.
• Oversee accommodation, administration and hospitality services, including kitchen, dining and housekeeping.
• Perform or supervise cleaning, retail and utility tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Current Sodexo employee with relevant experience for the targeted role.
• Qualified chef for Head Chef positions (relevant culinary qualification required).
• Leadership or supervisory experience for Village Manager and Assistant Manager roles.
