Electrical Service Technician – Port Solutions

About the role

Konecranes is looking for two Electrical Service Technicians to join a high‑performing field service team that supports critical rail and port operations across Victoria. The role works 24/7 in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring the reliability of complex crane and industrial lifting equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service and maintain cranes and heavy industrial equipment.
• Perform preventative, corrective and emergency breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults with an understanding of mechanical interactions.
• Support repairs, installations, commissioning and retrofit works.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Work closely with site operations teams and stakeholders.
• Complete accurate service reports, safety documentation and job updates.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Electrical Licence (essential).
• Electrical service experience with a strong mechanical background or exposure.
• Proven fault‑finding and troubleshooting capability in industrial settings.
• Ability to work under high‑pressure, time‑critical situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and reliability.
