Dispensary Pharmacist (Grade 2) – Part‑Time Fixed‑Term

About the role

Western Health is looking for a part‑time Dispensary Pharmacist (Grade 2) on a fixed‑term contract until 28 February 2027. The role supports inpatient, outpatient and Hospital‑in‑the‑Home (HITH) dispensing services across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dispensing services to inpatients, outpatients and HITH patients.
• Assist the Dispensary Manager with coordination of dispensing activities, patient education and operational management of the dispensaries.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives that improve pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) completed.
• Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of pharmacy legislation and related regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Experience supervising staff.
