Disability Support Worker – Advanced Skills – Community

About the role

The Community Support Worker provides person‑centred assistance to clients under the NDIS framework, helping them achieve greater independence and community participation. You will support individuals with disability and psychosocial needs in daily living activities and promote skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany clients on social outings, shopping trips and GP/specialist appointments.
• Assist with personal care tasks at home, including toileting, showering and dressing.
• Perform light domestic duties, meal preparation and eating assistance.
• Administer medication as required.
• Liaise with families and client representatives.

Required profile

• Commitment to person‑centred care that respects client choice and goals.
• Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Proof of working rights (passport or visa).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Working With Children Check (Western Australia).
• Previous experience in health/disability support or a relevant Cert III (desirable but not essential).
