About the role

The Director, Security Solutions Architecture, APJC leads Splunk's Security Solutions Architecture organization across the APJC region, shaping technical strategy and driving growth for the Splunk Security business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing team of senior Security Solutions Architects across multiple APJC markets.
• Own and translate the regional technical strategy for Splunk Security, aligning global priorities with market opportunities.
• Partner with Account Solutions Engineers to provide deep security expertise, architectural guidance, and consulting on customer engagements.
• Shape strategic customer engagements on security transformation, SOC modernization, digital resilience, and AI‑driven security operations.
• Develop repeatable architectures, technical plays, and enablement practices to scale field effectiveness.
• Represent APJC in global Security, Product and Engineering forums, ensuring regional insights influence roadmap decisions.
• Build and elevate technical leadership, develop senior architects, and foster a culture of credibility and collaboration.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, technical sales, solutions engineering or architecture.
• Significant people‑leadership experience managing senior technical professionals across multiple countries.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical execution and measurable commercial outcomes.
• Experience engaging senior executives (CISOs, CIOs) on complex transformation initiatives.
• Strong track record of operating across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Partner organizations in a global company.
