Customer Business Manager

About the role

The Customer Business Manager will lead Unilever’s growth in the Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing and Health & Wellness categories for Aldi and Costco. Reporting to the Aldi, Costco & Alternative Channels Lead, this role bridges strategic planning and operational execution to drive sales performance and long‑term partnership value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the customer strategy for Aldi and Costco across the assigned categories.
• Deliver turnover, profitability and trade spend targets while managing budgets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key contacts such as Category Managers, Buyers and Marketing teams.
• Lead joint business planning, negotiations and promotional planning with internal CSP and Marketing teams.
• Oversee in‑store activation events, range and merchandising reviews, and space allocation.
• Produce short‑term volume and spend forecasts aligned with the S&OP process.
• Drive initiatives for category growth, in‑store performance and adoption of new technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer business development or category management within retail channels.
• Strong ability to translate strategic plans into actionable operational initiatives.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior customer and internal stakeholders.
• Leadership capability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive results.
