Consultant - Risk Analytics

About the role

EY is hiring a Consultant (Risk Analytics) in Boorloo, Perth, to deliver risk-focused data and analytics projects for clients across a wide range of industries. The role combines business and technical skills to turn data into insights. It is a hybrid position, and roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Support analytics and broader risk management offerings to top-tier clients across multiple industries, and help spread data literacy across EY.
• Tackle complex client challenges using transactional and operational data to solve real-world business problems.
• Work closely with clients at all levels to use data to understand their business, identify opportunities and quantify the challenges they face.

Required profile

• Problem-solving skills and business acumen, including time management, spoken and written communication and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience solving business problems with data and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver, communicate and present insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hands-on data analysis, data preparation and/or data visualisation.
• Familiarity with data-processing tools or programming languages such as SQL, Python or R is a plus; technical skills will be developed on the job.
