Construction Manager

About the role

Harnest, the social and affordable housing arm of Mazzei Group, is looking for a values‑led Construction Manager to lead projects and site teams across the Warrnambool, Horsham and Portland regions of Victoria. You will work closely with the Head of Construction and Project Managers to ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery of high‑quality housing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Site Managers across multiple regional projects.
• Drive safety, programme and quality performance on site.
• Protect cost outcomes and minimise commercial risk.
• Oversee trade performance and subcontractor compliance.
• Ensure an exceptional client and stakeholder experience through to handover.

Required profile

• 10+ years residential construction experience with strong leadership exposure.
• Certificate IV (or higher) in Construction Management or a relevant trade qualification.
• Strong knowledge of NCC, BCA, WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
• Proven capability managing programmes, trades and stakeholder relationships across multiple sites.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with regional or dispersed site teams.
