Concrete Boom Operator

About the role

A well-established construction contracting company in North-Western Queensland is seeking a skilled Concrete Boom Operator to safely and accurately manage concrete placement across building and infrastructure projects. The role is permanent and full-time, with a competitive salary of up to $120,000, and does not accept sponsorship or work visas.

Key responsibilities

• Operate concrete boom cranes to lift and pour concrete at building and infrastructure sites
• Assist in assembling and dismantling boom crane equipment as required
• Maintain strict compliance with occupational health and safety standards during crane operations
• Collaborate with ground personnel and site managers to schedule and execute tasks smoothly
• Carry out daily inspections of crane equipment and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Document work activities and materials for compliance and operational tracking
• Follow all construction site safety protocols and company procedures

Required profile

• Proven practical experience operating concrete boom cranes in construction environments
• Strong understanding and application of health and safety regulations related to crane operation
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Legal right to work in Australia (e.g. permanent residency or equivalent)
