Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager

About the role

A leading commercial vehicle business, described as a premium brand with a strong sales history, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its sales divisions. This is a key leadership role based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, responsible for driving profitable sales growth, strengthening market presence, managing inventory performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to delivery and aftersales support.

Key responsibilities

• Sales leadership: drive sales plans, lead and coach the team and manage pricing and negotiations
• Customer development: build strong relationships to drive retention and provide tailored solutions
• Manage pricing, margins, inventory and trade valuations, working with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and WHS requirements, and uphold professional standards and integrity

Required profile

• Proven achievements in commercial vehicle, equipment or transport sales solutions
• Proven leadership and development of sales teams
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Professional presentation and communication abilities
• Australian citizenship or residency, or full working rights in Australia; no international applicants or sponsorship
