Commercial Strategy Lead

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded Commercial Strategy Lead to join our MECCA-Maginations team and help shape the future of our growing portfolio of beauty brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market, competitor and retailer analysis to inform international expansion, investment and partnership opportunities.
• Identify and assess future categories, new brands and emerging opportunities, developing market sizing, business cases and commercial recommendations.
• Conduct commercial analysis and due diligence for new brand, product and investment opportunities, translating insights into clear strategic direction.
• Support the delivery of go‑to‑market plans and strategic partnerships across Product, Inventory, Brand Marketing and other functions.
• Analyse product performance across the portfolio, identifying opportunities to exit, renovate or double down on key products.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial or corporate strategy, consulting, brand strategy, project management or a similar analytical commercial environment.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in financial modelling, market sizing and building business cases.
• Confidence working with data and insights to develop clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, able to build trusted relationships in a fast‑moving environment.
• Exposure to international markets, retail, product development or the beauty industry is highly regarded.
