China Marketing Specialist (Sydney)

About the role

Blueberry is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented China Marketing Specialist to join its Sydney marketing team. You will help expand the brand’s presence in Chinese‑speaking markets by localising content, managing social media channels, and supporting multi‑channel campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localise marketing copy, short‑form videos and campaign assets for platforms such as Douyin, WeChat Official Account, WeChat Channels and RedNote.
• Manage day‑to‑day publishing, community engagement and moderation on Chinese social media channels.
• Maintain content calendars and assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Create content briefs, draft copy and collaborate with designers to produce engaging assets.
• Quality‑check website pages, landing pages, CRM communications and other marketing materials.
• Support product launches, promotional events and brand initiatives.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English with strong written communication and localisation abilities.
• Interest in digital marketing, financial markets and emerging industry trends.
• Experience using Chinese social media platforms such as Douyin, WeChat and RedNote.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative, proactive and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to work onsite in Sydney.
