About the role

Sodexo is seeking experienced chefs to join its remote BIBO operations in Cooma, NSW. You will work on a 14‑days‑on, 7‑days‑off roster, delivering high‑volume meals for mining communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in a high‑volume catering environment.
  • Maintain food safety and HACCP standards throughout all operations.
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation and portion control.
  • Collaborate with a supportive kitchen team and adapt to remote site conditions.

Required profile

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Experience in bulk catering or high‑volume kitchens.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full Australian working rights and ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol tests.

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP.
