Centre Manager – headspace Elsternwick & Syndal

About the role

The Centre Manager will lead innovative headspace mental health centres in Elsternwick, Bentleigh and Syndal, overseeing a multidisciplinary team delivering services to young people aged 12‑25 and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support clinicians, community awareness staff and administrative personnel across the centres.
• Implement the @ease youth participation model to improve volunteer engagement and service access.
• Coordinate community, youth and family engagement activities and health promotion initiatives.
• Ensure high‑quality service delivery, compliance with health‑sector policies and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing (Grade 6).
• Demonstrated leadership experience and public speaking/facilitation skills.
• Experience working with mental health, alcohol & other drug issues and broader social challenges.
• Australian working rights, current influenza vaccination, valid driver’s licence and Working with Children Check.
