About the role
Ganaji Contracting is seeking a Casual Recruiter to support its internal, high‑volume hiring needs for electrical trades and a smaller number of mechanical positions. This is an internal recruitment role within the oil & gas sector, focused on quality and compliance rather than agency churn.
Key responsibilities
- Contact candidates as directed, assess availability and suitability for open roles.
- Conduct natural, engaging phone conversations, adapting tone as required.
- Maintain accurate recruitment spreadsheets and ensure data complies with oil & gas requirements.
- Manage high‑volume follow‑ups and keep candidate records up to date.
- Provide occasional administrative support to the wider office.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience (essential).
- Internal recruitment experience preferred.
- Comfortable working within structured oil & gas compliance frameworks.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident, personable and natural on the phone.
- Ability to work independently.
