About the role

This short‑term engagement supports a leading energy client undergoing strategic recalibration. The consultant will lead a focused review of operating expenditure, identify inefficiencies, and propose data‑driven improvements to enhance cost discipline and long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Review current operating models and cost structures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimise processes.
• Develop clear, evidence‑based recommendations for a future‑state operating model.
• Assess associated risks, trade‑offs, and implementation considerations.
• Present findings and strategic insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Seasoned consultant with a proven track record in operational improvement, cost optimisation, or business transformation.
• Experience in the energy sector or related industries such as utilities, renewables, or infrastructure.
• Background in strategy & operations consulting, performance improvement, or continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including interaction with executive leadership.
