Project Coordinator / Project Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

Coengineer is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator / Project Manager to join its fast‑growing Sydney team. This hybrid position blends hands‑on project support with stakeholder engagement, giving you responsibility for planning, execution, financial tracking and reporting across engineering automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the project management team in delivering engineering projects and services.
• Assist in planning and controlling scope, budget, schedule, procurement, and resources.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure system compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Track financials, invoicing, reporting and monitor overall project performance.
• Uphold internal procedures, IMS requirements and WHS safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, systems and processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to engineers, technicians, project managers and coordinators.
• Manage customer and supplier relationships, including tenders, bids and quotations.
• Help achieve business objectives such as revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Perform general administrative and ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 certification or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, preferably in control systems or technology environments.
• Proven experience tracking project financials, schedules, resource planning and risk management.
• Strong customer‑focused approach with ability to deliver positive client outcomes.
• Engineering experience is an advantage.
