About the role
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to join our Adelaide office. You will drive new customer acquisition, nurture existing relationships, and contribute to the growth of our logistics solutions across air, sea, and contract logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers while meeting sales targets.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Design and execute strategic sales plans for target verticals.
- Achieve growth and profitability goals aligned with annual targets.
- Build a robust pipeline through prospecting and market intelligence.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with operational and solutions teams to create commercially attractive proposals.
- Present engineered logistics solutions and lead contract negotiations.
- Provide professional, customer‑focused service at all times.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role within the logistics industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong negotiation abilities.
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
