Business Advisor

About the role

The Business Advisor will manage a designated territory in Perth, ensuring optimal service to first‑line pharmacy accounts and driving sales of dispensary and OTC products. You will build strong relationships, execute business tactics, and contribute to Viatris’ mission of providing high‑quality medicines to millions of patients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the designated territory and provide optimum service to first‑line accounts.
• Exceed net sales targets for dispensary and OTC pharmacy products within the territory.
• Build and sustain loyalty with first‑line accounts through relationship management.
• Execute agreed business tactics to optimise substitution opportunities.
• Design and implement quarterly business plans with targets, actions, and outcomes for each account.
• Deliver a first‑class sales experience using business insights, analytics, and innovative deal‑level strategies.
• Address customer concerns, own territory issues, and provide appropriate solutions; escalate to Regional Business Manager when needed.
• Consistently record and assess call outcomes in the required system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science or Sales.
• At least 1 year experience in Australia’s generic market.
• 1‑2 years experience in B2B complex sales environments.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen or appropriate visa holder).
