Billing Officer

About the role

efm Logistics, the largest 4PL provider in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a passionate and analytical Billing Officer to join its Finance team in Moorabbin. The role involves ensuring accurate billing, reconciling carrier invoices, and supporting broader billing functions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and reconcile carrier invoices and rates against contracts in a timely manner.
• Manage major customer portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely charges.
• Lodge claims with carriers and ensure completeness of invoices received.
• Resolve issues with long‑term solutions and maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support broader billing functions as required.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated mathematical ability.
• Billing experience preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (intermediate to advanced proficiency).
