Bartender - Qantas Lounge

About the role

A Qantas Lounge operated by Accor in Mascot is looking for a Bartender. You will create a warm, inviting atmosphere and serve barista-quality coffee, premium beverages, wines, beers and cocktails, helping guests feel welcome whether they are starting their journey, returning home or stopping over between flights.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and serve premium coffee, cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and refreshments
• Provide genuine, friendly and professional service to every guest
• Create a welcoming and relaxed lounge atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar area
• Monitor stock levels and replenish products as required
• Follow RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless guest experience

Required profile

• Previous experience in a bar, café, restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality environment
• Current RSA certificate
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and professional presentation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)

Required skills

• Barista experience and cocktail knowledge (highly regarded)
• Natural ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
