Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Marrickville)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their full range of financial needs. You will engage in needs‑based conversations, promote digital solutions and ensure every interaction strengthens the customer’s relationship with ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with end‑to‑end banking services, from transactions to advisory conversations.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative branch team.
• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy.
• Participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
• Ability to conduct needs‑based conversations and meet accreditation requirements.
• Strong commitment to compliance and risk management.
