About the role
This senior associate position is within a nationally recognised insurance litigation practice in Melbourne, focusing on personal injury and general liability matters for major insurers, corporate clients and government organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients in complex defendant litigation including public and product liability, personal injury, occupiers’ liability and workers’ compensation.
- Manage multimillion‑dollar class actions, coronial matters and other high‑value claims, working closely with senior lawyers.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with experience in personal injury, general liability or broader defendant insurance litigation, at senior associate or experienced lawyer level.
- Strong litigation and file‑management experience, commercial judgement and confidence in developing client relationships.
Required skills
- Litigation expertise in insurance and liability matters.
- Ability to manage complex cases and direct client interaction.
