About the role

Gadens is seeking a high‑calibre Associate with 2‑4 years of post‑admission experience to join its Technology, Media & Intellectual Property team in Sydney or Melbourne. The role focuses on technology transactions, AI governance, privacy compliance and cyber preparedness across regulated sectors.

Required profile

• Strong technical and academic background from a leading Australian or international university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to distil complex issues for clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Curiosity about client industries and rapid knowledge development.
• Proven time‑management, prioritisation and collaborative working style.
• Interest in business development, mentoring junior lawyers and emerging technologies.
