Associate Managing Consultant – Generative AI Engineer/Data Scientist

About the role

Mastercard is looking for an experienced technical consultant who blends hands‑on Generative AI engineering with a solid data‑science foundation. In this associate managing consultant position you will design, build and deploy production‑grade Generative AI solutions for enterprise clients while also contributing to broader analytics initiatives where AI may not be the optimal answer.

Key responsibilities

• Shape business problems with stakeholders and define AI‑driven solution approaches.
• Develop, fine‑tune and integrate large language models and other Generative AI components into client environments.
• Productionise AI pipelines, ensure scalability, reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with data‑analytics teams to deliver complementary modelling and reporting.
• Support client adoption, provide training, and hand over operational ownership.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership and best‑practice documentation within the consulting practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end AI solutions for large organisations.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into measurable technical outcomes.
• Comfortable working across both LLM‑centric systems and classical analytics/modelling.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
