Associate Director, FI Sales

About the role

As an Associate Director, FI Sales in our Financial Institutions Sales, Markets Australia, you’ll play a key role in helping drive growth in the Financial Institutions Sales, Money Markets business in Australia. The role will be responsible for an existing portfolio of funding investor customers while also looking to grow market share and new business opportunities including short‑end securities distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue target for individual client set and for Money Market Sales.
• Manage end‑to‑end trade life‑cycle, including pricing, credit checks, deal input and settlement for deposits and short‑term OTC securities.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients, providing primary coverage of existing customers and generating new business.
• Source new‑to‑bank client opportunities and promote digital adoption of ANZ Markets channels.
• Utilise data to generate client insights and identify process‑improvement and automation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and adhere to markets suitability frameworks and regulatory standards.
• Build collaborative relationships across Financial Institutions Sales and with key business stakeholders.
• Create learning opportunities to enhance product and customer knowledge.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience across funding and fixed‑income products.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs using data.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptable approach based on experience, feedback and continuous learning.
• Proven ability to identify customer opportunities and deliver effective solutions.
• Solution‑mindset for identifying risks and process gaps.
