Associate, Audit & Assurance

About the role

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking an Associate in Audit & Assurance to join its dynamic team. You will work on a variety of client engagements, delivering independent audits that provide actionable insights and add value. The role offers a hybrid work model, balancing remote days with collaborative on‑site connection days.

Key responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits for public listed, private, not‑for‑profit and government entities.
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
• Identify and report financial risks to clients.
• Examine financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Investigate technical and application issues to improve client outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in an audit & assurance environment with solid knowledge of IFRS.
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Strong client relationship and communication abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
