Assistant Brand Manager - Chocolate

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join Nestlé’s Confectionery team in Australia, focusing on iconic chocolate brands such as KitKat. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will support the full marketing mix and help drive growth through innovation and activation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in local innovation planning for chocolate brands, with a focus on KitKat.
• Lead end‑to‑end innovation projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and execute media and digital campaigns, preparing briefs for agencies.
• Lead brand activations and events, both internal and external.
• Partner with the Digital Manager on social content planning and execution.
• Manage relationships with local packaging, creative agencies and internal stakeholders (Sales, Category, Insights, Supply Chain).
• Oversee a large marketing budget in collaboration with the brand team.

Required profile

• Strong strategic and analytical abilities with solid project‑management experience in FMCG.
• Proven capability to influence and align cross‑functional, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in new product development (NPD) and working closely with an Insights team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, “can‑do” work style.
• Eligibility to work permanently in Australia (full Australian working rights).
