Area Manager – Wine Sales (QLD)

About the role

Brown Family Wine Group is seeking an energetic and well‑connected sales professional to join its Queensland team as an Area Manager. Based in Cairns, you will be responsible for growing the distribution and sales of our premium wine portfolio across a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales and distribution in both retail and on‑premise channels.
• Manage and develop a defined territory, including regular regional travel (approximately four nights per month).
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with trade customers.
• Execute promotions, in‑store initiatives, and brand activations.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Represent the brands at trade tastings and events.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the wine or broader beverage industry.
• Proven sales success in FMCG with strong territory management and business planning skills.
• Self‑motivated, highly organised, and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and a customer‑first mindset.
• Current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
