Architectural Master Planner & Detailer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Master Planner & Detailer to support active construction sites across Southeast Queensland. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and bridges design with on‑site construction, ensuring accurate and coordinated documentation for real‑time building needs.

Key responsibilities

• Visit live SEQ construction sites, assess conditions and produce detailed architectural documentation.
• Create high‑quality architectural details using ArchiCAD and coordinate directly with site foremen.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive details book for current and future projects.
• Prepare fully coordinated plotting plans (PDF & CAD) based on master plans, civil data and compliance requirements.
• Identify and document site‑specific risks such as bushfire, flooding, acoustic and environmental constraints.
• Reduce rework, RFIs and delays by delivering clear, timely documentation.

Required profile

• Advanced experience with ArchiCAD (non‑negotiable).
• Broad background in urban design, architecture and civil design.
• Proven track record working on active construction sites, both residential and commercial.
• Strong technical understanding of compliance and site‑related constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for direct collaboration with site foremen.
• Ability to work autonomously, proactively and with a solutions‑focused mindset.
