Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer (OT)

About the role

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer (OT) to deliver on‑site security services for industrial process control networks across multiple sectors, including oil & gas, power generation, and life sciences. You will work directly with customers in Perth, providing consulting, design, implementation and assessment expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Provide on‑site consulting, troubleshooting, network design, and security assessments for OT environments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of cyber security solutions and industry standards such as IEC‑62443 and ISO‑27000.
• Develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders by delivering accurate technical support.
• Respond to customer inquiries, diagnose issues, and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Maintain industrial safety awareness and complete required safety certifications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in networking, endpoint security, and IT security audits/assessments.
• CCNA or CCNP certification (mandatory); GICSP, CISSP or similar security certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial standards (ISA/IEC‑62443, ISO‑27001, NIST) and process control system design.
• Ability to work on‑site in Perth and travel to customer locations as needed.

• Networking: Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS.
• Security tools: Nessus, NMAP, SIEM platforms.
• Virtualization: VMware.
• Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server.
• Operating systems: Linux, Windows security basics.
• Endpoint protection, backup & restore solutions.
• Vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, and mitigation.
