Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Australian team and help enhance the reliability, scalability and performance of our Classroom Management SaaS product. You will work closely with engineering managers, product owners and designers to turn customer requirements into robust, high-quality services and intuitive user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services that support millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create user-friendly front-end components.
• Make informed trade-offs between quality, delivery speed and long-term maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Contribute to technical discussions and long-term platform evolution.

Required profile

• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on building reliable software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, attending the Perth office 2–3 days per week.
• Willingness to adopt AI-assisted tools responsibly while maintaining security and production quality standards.
