Account Executive – SMB Sales (Fitness SaaS)

About the role

Hapana is expanding its footprint in Australia and is looking for an Account Executive to drive new‑business growth with small‑ and medium‑size fitness brands. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and work closely with Solutions Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to deliver a seamless buying experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales process for SMB opportunities, including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation and close.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business across the fitness market.
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customers’ challenges and position Hapana’s platform as a solution.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineer to deliver tailored product demonstrations.
• Navigate multi‑stakeholder buying processes and develop commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and KPI reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology or payments.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with SMB customers.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Resilience and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Comfort engaging senior decision‑makers and building relationships across the fitness industry.

Required skills

• Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform.
