3-Day IHC Educator – Twins and Four-Year-Old

About the role

A family in Balgownie, NSW is looking for a caring, nurturing and confident educator to look after two young twins (aged 4 years, 11 months each) and their four-year-old child. The twins are the main focus of care, with the four-year-old joining sessions at times around their pre-kinder routine. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, three or four days per week, with flexible days and times.

The day follows a relaxed routine of meals, bottles, naps, play and age-appropriate learning activities, with opportunities for craft, outdoor play and walks to the nearby park. The family wants someone calm, cool and collected, experienced with multiple young children and comfortable managing different ages and routines, and enthusiastic about keeping things running calmly even when plans change.

Required profile

• Working towards or holding a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or another IHC-relevant ACECQA-approved qualification such as a Bachelor of Primary Education, and registered with the relevant state authority board.
• At least 3 references.
• WWCC, police check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid.
• Car and driver's licence; driving required.
• Willingness to commit for at least 12 months.
• Full working rights in Australia; applicants on 417 and 462 visas should not apply.
• Excellent personal hygiene and infection-control practice, because an immunocompromised family member lives in the home.
