Ultrasound Applications Specialist – Point of Care (NSW)

About the role

The NSW Ultrasound Applications Specialist provides technical and clinical support throughout the sales cycle for the Point of Care segment, covering pre‑sale demonstrations and post‑sale installation, training and ongoing support of GE HealthCare's VENUE and Vscan ultrasound platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product demonstrations and clinical trial support to showcase full range of ultrasound features.
• Coordinate and conduct customer training on software, applications and equipment use.
• Monitor installations, improve customer satisfaction and maintain relationships across the assigned territory.
• Support trade shows and conferences with product promotion and training.
• Produce post‑training reports and provide feedback on customer needs.

Required profile

• Active professional clinical/technical certification allowing live patient scanning.
• Minimum 3 years clinical/technical experience or 2 years commercial applications experience with proven customer interaction success.
• Willingness to travel extensively within NSW and attend nationwide meetings and tradeshows.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and comply with GEHC quality and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with ultrasound scanning on VENUE and Vscan platforms.
• Ability to perform product demonstrations and training sessions.
