Trainer & Assessor – Pathology Learning & Development

About the role

Join Healius’s Talent & Capability team to shape learning experiences for pathology collectors and coaches across Australia. You will deliver high‑quality training, assess competency, and mentor coaches, ensuring safe and consistent patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging virtual and face‑to‑face training sessions for onboarding and upskilling pathology collectors.
• Conduct competency assessments aligned with the National Certification Framework and NATA requirements.
• Coach and mentor coaches, promoting the "Healius Way" of training and assessment.
• Develop and continuously improve a national training curriculum.
• Maintain accurate training, assessment and competency records in line with quality and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Managers, Quality and Operations teams to ensure training aligns with SOPs, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support ongoing improvement of training processes and materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering training and assessment in a health or pathology environment.
• Strong facilitation skills for both virtual and in‑person sessions.
• Knowledge of the National Certification Framework and NATA compliance.
• Ability to coach and mentor others, building confidence and consistency.
• Excellent record‑keeping and attention to compliance.
• Collaborative mindset to work with managers, quality and operations teams.
