Subcontracts Administrator (SCA) I to IV

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support its program in Alice Springs, Australia. The role covers the full subcontract lifecycle from acquisition planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with government policies and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain subcontract and procurement documentation in compliance with CPSR, FAR/DFARS and company policies.
• Manage subcontract files, monitor deliverables, modifications and support closeout processes.
• Evaluate proposals, conduct negotiations with subcontractors and prepare related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (HR, finance, program) and external subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow.
• Oversee agreement lifecycles (NDAs, teaming, subcontracts, CTAs) from drafting to execution.
• Provide compliance guidance, proposal support and subcontractor performance tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant experience ranging from 2 years (SCA I) to 8 years (SCA IV) in procurement, subcontracts or supply chain.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to obtain and retain the required security clearance (NV1 progressing to Top‑Secret/TS‑SCI).
